WELCOME TO PARCEVALL HALL

Parcevall Hall is the retreat house of the Anglican Diocese of Leeds. We warmly welcome residential guests and day visitors all the year round.

Individual private guests and groups of many kinds, secular and religious, have come here to experience peace and tranquillity since the hall opened as a Retreat House in 1963.

Private bookings from groups and individuals can be made for a day or more of peace away from the busyness of daily life.

Single guests are always welcome.  They tell us they feel relaxed and at home here, often make new friends and enjoy good company.  We don’t charge a single supplement, and you won’t be asked to share your room.

Our Guests Tell Us...

"Many thanks for a wonderful experience.  What a beautiful house.  The staff are marvellous."

"So great to be back in this very welcoming environment - the house, the gardens, the hills - and most importantly, the staff!"

"This lovely place just keeps on getting better and better! It is a privilege to stay here."

"A wonderful peaceful place. Very gentle and kind companions in every way."

"Wonderful.  Such warmth and friendliness"

“I have been visiting and staying at Parcevall Hall for over 10 years and have very much appreciated the warmth of welcome and hospitality shown by every one of the staff that I have met over this time.  There is a real culture of hospitality which pervades the place.  The way the gardens are managed so that even in the depths of winter they are accessible and beautiful is a real blessing. As well as visiting as part of a group, I have often stayed on an individual basis and have been able to find a peaceful part of the house even when there is a lot going on.”

"Excellent stay, excellent food, excellent room.  Parcevall Hall is an oasis of infinite calm, peace and tranquility in a desert of daily stress, pressure and worry! Who needs a 7 star hotel when heaven on earth exists here? So now my visit's over, I'll join my hands and pray, for the glory that is Parcevall, that it may not pass away"

"My first visit.  What a treat.  God is Good.  Thank you all"

“From the first time I visited Parcevall Hall in 2001 it has for me remained the favourite retreat house of all those our group has stayed at.”

“Parcevall has a warm and relaxing atmosphere, as soon as I arrive I feel "at home".”
