Among the first women to be ordained in the Church of England, Flora Winfield has worked in parish ministry, university and military chaplaincy, ecumenical relations, international conflict transformation and humanitarian diplomacy.
Since 2007, Flora has been a member of the personal staff of the Archbishop of Canterbury, serving from 2014-2017 as the Anglican Communion Permanent Representative to the United Nations. At present she is the Archbishop of Canterbury’s Special Representative to the Commonwealth.
