THE FRIENDS OF PARCEVALL HALL

The Hall does not receive any grants or external funding, so we are very fortunate in having the support of a substantial and very active group of Friends.

The Friends support the work of Parcevall Hall through prayer, practical help and an annual subscription which has provided funds over the years for refurbishment, new equipment and bursaries to assist those in need to be able to stay at the Hall.

Friends come together and meet at the Hall several times each year and receive a newsletter with details of forthcoming events and news from the Hall.

Our Guests Tell Us...

"A memorable Christmas - every element of feasting, fellowship and worship. Thank you indeed."

“I always feel when there that it is so special that it is almost part of a different world as it is so beautiful and relaxing. Plus of course the staff are great, the food wonderful and the peace inspiring. I am always telling other people about the place.”

“All staff members are warm, friendly and attentive. Food is consistently good. Home cooking at its best, well planned with thought to detail.”

“The staff are exceptional, they always make you so very welcome and the delicious homemade meals are a real treat, not to mention the homemade biscuits and cake with coffee and afternoon tea. I always look forward to returning to the peace of Parcevall Hall, it’s a privilege to be able to enjoy this unique place.”

"Wonderful food, fellowship and fun.  Thank you to all the staff for making us so welcome."

“The house allows you to ‘be’ in God’s presence & you are uninterrupted especially in silent retreats. The house itself ministers to you, as I discovered on my first ever visit when all the ‘God’ bits went over my head.”

"So great to be back in this very welcoming environment - the house, the gardens, the hills - and most importantly, the staff!"

"Such a beautiful place. Thank you for your great hospitality and warmth."

"Absolutely great"

“It is such a treat to be away from the telephone, the TV, the menu planning, the washing up and there’s no-one needing a clean shirt.”
