THE FRIENDS OF PARCEVALL HALL

The Hall does not receive any grants or external funding, so we are very fortunate in having the support of a substantial and very active group of Friends.

The Friends support the work of Parcevall Hall through prayer, practical help and an annual subscription which has provided funds over the years for refurbishment, new equipment and bursaries to assist those in need to be able to stay at the Hall.

Friends come together and meet at the Hall several times each year and receive a newsletter with details of forthcoming events and news from the Hall.

Our Guests Tell Us...

“Parcevall Hall is a place of prayer but definitely not fasting & having such meals for any woman who has to plan, shop, cook and wash up normally put in front of her regularly is a holiday in itself. They also cater for any need. It is wonderful to have homemade food created just on the spot.”

“Parcevall is a place where the wells of God’s peace and presence are open and flowing”

“I hear many compliments upon the setting, bedrooms, meeting rooms and the chapel as well as the good food and other aspects of peoples' stays. Trainees find their time with you inspirational and value the quiet setting.”

"Thank you once again.  You take such care of us.  A lovely tranquil start to the season.  Smashing food!"

"A haven of warmth and hospitality. Many thanks."

"Many thanks to you and your lovely staff for looking after us so well - the food just gets better each time - the welcome special - the sense of deep peace within the house amazing."

“It is possible to arrive at Parcevall in any state of mind, happy, ill, burdened, confused, or just tired out and what you receive turns out to be what is needed.”

"Another lovely weekend.  I always look forward to it and it always more than fulfils our needs.  Many thanks to all the staff"

“The house allows you to ‘be’ in God’s presence & you are uninterrupted especially in silent retreats. The house itself ministers to you, as I discovered on my first ever visit when all the ‘God’ bits went over my head.”

“We have been more than impressed with your lovely staff, whom we now regard as personal friends.”
