Staying At Parcevall Hall

Residential guests and day visitors are welcome all year round at Parcevall Hall.

Whether as individual private guests, as part of an organised group or joining one of the Hall’s programmed events, you will experience the peaceful tranquillity which has touched so many since the Hall opened in 1963.

Business groups, conferences, educational and training groups, craft, music, art and yoga workshops all form part of the varied calendar of Parcevall Hall, with private holiday guests and those looking for a place to retreat or just spend a quiet day mingling together over the wonderful home-cooked food in our 16th century dining room.

As well as the Milner Room with state of the art audio-visual facilities, we have a number of smaller meeting areas suitable for private study or for use as break-out rooms for larger groups. In addition our chapels, both indoors and in the gardens, are available for services or for quiet reflection.

Our 17 letting rooms provide simple but charming, clean and comfortable accommodation for up to 28 and a self-contained one bedroom cottage in the grounds is available either for catered or self-catering visits and, of course, all of our guests are welcome to wander around the beautiful gardens at no additional charge.

Most guests choose to stay on a full board basis. With breakfast, morning coffee, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner included, it is often said that no-one leaves Parcevall Hall hungry! For those who prefer, we also offer bookings on a Dinner, Bed & Breakfast or simple B&B basis.

The Hall is licensed and we have an honesty bar available for guests, as well as a small gift shop selling greetings cards, books, jams and chutneys, and toiletries for those who have missed something when packing!

Our Guests Tell Us...

“I have been visiting and staying at Parcevall Hall for over 10 years and have very much appreciated the warmth of welcome and hospitality shown by every one of the staff that I have met over this time.  There is a real culture of hospitality which pervades the place.  The way the gardens are managed so that even in the depths of winter they are accessible and beautiful is a real blessing. As well as visiting as part of a group, I have often stayed on an individual basis and have been able to find a peaceful part of the house even when there is a lot going on.”

“I appreciate the homely atmosphere, the good food and the fellowship.  It is that sense of relaxation that comes upon you when driving towards the Hall – the roads get narrower and the anticipation builds until you arrive – wonderful!”

“All staff members are warm, friendly and attentive. Food is consistently good. Home cooking at its best, well planned with thought to detail.”

“I've been to a couple of organised Quiet Days and they have been super.  Good welcome, freedom to use a great deal of the house (so helpful) and the garden is just wonderful.”

“Parcevall Hall offers a lovely warm welcome in beautiful surroundings and the ambience of the hall adds to this, and as a regular visitor for many years to this place I feel that that in itself is a compliment. I look forward to each of my visits knowing that I will, when the time comes, once again leave feeling relaxed and refreshed after being looked after by staff that have become more like friends.”
