THE TEAM

We have a small and dedicated team of cooks, housekeepers, front of house
and backroom staff who keep the Hall running smoothly. They make a valuable
contribution to the Hall’s atmosphere of welcome.

Many of you will know Parcevall Hall’s long-serving Chaplain, Graham Bettridge.
He is available for quiet days and services, and time with Graham can be arranged
through the Hall for confession, prayer or a confidential chat.

Our Guests Tell Us...

"Amazing, yet again.  Great food, lovely scenery and delightful company.  Can’t wait until the next retreat."

“Parcevall Hall is a place of prayer but definitely not fasting & having such meals for any woman who has to plan, shop, cook and wash up normally put in front of her regularly is a holiday in itself. They also cater for any need. It is wonderful to have homemade food created just on the spot.”

“I find the atmosphere of peace and prayer very uplifting and leave feeling refreshed. Its quite nice to have no mobile signal! The food is excellent and it is a privilege to stay in such a beautiful house and grounds.”

“The staff are so welcoming and treat us as old friends”

"A lovely place to find oneself."

"A lovely place and we have many happy memories of church weekends there"

"The meal was very good indeed and the dining room was a delight. I think that people shared my thrill in being in such a memorable old building for the celebration; thank you very much indeed for making this possible."

"Absolutely great"

“I hear many compliments upon the setting, bedrooms, meeting rooms and the chapel as well as the good food and other aspects of peoples' stays. Trainees find their time with you inspirational and value the quiet setting.”

“I've been to a couple of organised Quiet Days and they have been super.  Good welcome, freedom to use a great deal of the house (so helpful) and the garden is just wonderful.”
