THE TEAM

Like any establishment, the service our guests receive is only as good as the people looking after them.

At Parcevall Hall, we have a small but very dedicated team of staff, some of whom have been serving our visitors for over 20 years.

As well as cooks, housekeepers, front of house and “backroom” staff, our chaplain is available for services, quiet days, parish weekends, or just to meet individuals for confession, prayer or a confidential chat.

Our Guests Tell Us...

"A wonderful peaceful place. Very gentle and kind companions in every way."

“We have been visiting the Hall for a number of years and have always received a very warm welcome from the staff. The home cooked food is very enjoyable and the staff will always prepare an alternative dish if required for whatever reason”

“The house allows you to ‘be’ in God’s presence & you are uninterrupted especially in silent retreats. The house itself ministers to you, as I discovered on my first ever visit when all the ‘God’ bits went over my head.”

“I have always found the atmosphere there so warm and welcoming, as if I am being given space to refresh myself without undue intrusion.  The care given by all the staff is exemplary.  I love the 'family-feel' home cooking that seems to be very much a mark of the special kind of hospitality at Parcevall.”

"With much thanks for all the care you have given us throughout our stay."

“We have always been delighted with everything provided and the weekend is a definite highlight in our church life.”

"I came laden with sorrow and the load became lighter. I felt safe and protected and I leave with a glow, a sense of serenity and peace."

"Thank you for the friendly welcome, the food, the gardens, the wonderful atmosphere and everything which makes Parcevall such a special place. I had a lovely weekend and didn't want to leave."

"Thank you all so much for your hospitality, help and kindness. A mixture of peace and excitement."

"Amazing, yet again.  Great food, lovely scenery and delightful company.  Can’t wait until the next retreat."
