THE TEAM

We have a small and dedicated team of cooks, housekeepers, front of house
and backroom staff who keep the Hall running smoothly. They make a valuable
contribution to the Hall’s atmosphere of welcome.

Many of you will know Parcevall Hall’s long-serving Chaplain, Graham Bettridge.
He is available for quiet days and services, and time with Graham can be arranged
through the Hall for confession, prayer or a confidential chat.

Our Guests Tell Us...

“Parcevall Hall offers a lovely warm welcome in beautiful surroundings and the ambience of the hall adds to this, and as a regular visitor for many years to this place I feel that that in itself is a compliment. I look forward to each of my visits knowing that I will, when the time comes, once again leave feeling relaxed and refreshed after being looked after by staff that have become more like friends.”

“We had visited Parcevall Hall when we first visited the lovely gardens not knowing about staying there. Later we received a personal recommendation from a friend who had stayed there many times. We were so impressed with everything on our first stay during June 2014, we immediately booked again for 2015.”

"Wonderful as ever.  Peaceful, inspirational retreats both, and looked after by staff superbly well."

“The staff have always been welcoming, supportive, and non-intrusive. They seem to appear whenever you need them!”

"So great to be back in this very welcoming environment - the house, the gardens, the hills - and most importantly, the staff!"

“I have always found the atmosphere there so warm and welcoming, as if I am being given space to refresh myself without undue intrusion.  The care given by all the staff is exemplary.  I love the 'family-feel' home cooking that seems to be very much a mark of the special kind of hospitality at Parcevall.”

“The staff are so welcoming and treat us as old friends”

"Thank you for all your kind, generous, thoughtful and excellent hospitality."

“It is such a treat to be away from the telephone, the TV, the menu planning, the washing up and there’s no-one needing a clean shirt.”

“Parcevall Hall is a place of prayer but definitely not fasting & having such meals for any woman who has to plan, shop, cook and wash up normally put in front of her regularly is a holiday in itself. They also cater for any need. It is wonderful to have homemade food created just on the spot.”
