THE TEAM

We have a small and dedicated team of cooks, housekeepers, front of house
and backroom staff who keep the Hall running smoothly. They make a valuable
contribution to the Hall’s atmosphere of welcome.

Many of you will know Parcevall Hall’s long-serving Chaplain, Graham Bettridge.
He is available for quiet days and services, and time with Graham can be arranged
through the Hall for confession, prayer or a confidential chat.

Our Guests Tell Us...

“It is such a treat to be away from the telephone, the TV, the menu planning, the washing up and there’s no-one needing a clean shirt.”

“Parcevall Hall keeps getting better and better!”

"Thank you all so much for your hospitality, help and kindness. A mixture of peace and excitement."

"With much thanks for all the care you have given us throughout our stay."

"Thank you for the friendly welcome, the food, the gardens, the wonderful atmosphere and everything which makes Parcevall such a special place. I had a lovely weekend and didn't want to leave."

"A lovely place to find oneself."

“Parcevall Hall is a wonderful place!  It is comfortable, homely, welcoming and the food is amazing.  It is in a beautiful setting and the gardens are beautiful too.  All the staff are friendly and helpful - nothing is ever a bother, and the general atmosphere is warm and relaxing.”

"Another lovely weekend.  I always look forward to it and it always more than fulfils our needs.  Many thanks to all the staff"

“All staff members are warm, friendly and attentive. Food is consistently good. Home cooking at its best, well planned with thought to detail.”

“Underpinning all this is the tangible presence of the Lord; the mysterious factor that makes PH a retreat house, not a hotel, undefinably different. This I believe is due to PH being steeped in prayer, the dedicated staff & not forgetting the Chaplains. This tangible presence I know is felt by non-Christians who come for non-Christian meeting/conferences etc. They have asked ‘What is it that is so different about this place?’”
